The Challenge: Cumming Group needed an efficient way to modernize and renew their network infrastructure across multiple locations in the US and UK. Naturally, they turned to Meraki, and Stratus immediately began spec’ing out the project. Naturally, shipping network equipment from the US to the UK proved to be a logistical and financial challenge, as both countries operate independently with different manufacturers and distributors.
Our Solution: Stratus worked closely with the Meraki ISR to strategically position the value of early renewal, providing Cumming Group with significant cost savings. To overcome the logistical hurdles, Stratus’s global shipping team coordinated the entire project from the US. Stratus drop-shipped the UK portion of the order directly to their overseas offices, streamlining the process and minimizing delays.
The Outcome: Thanks to strong collaboration between Meraki and Stratus, Cumming Group was able to meet tight deployment deadlines while securing early license renewals and additional cost savings. They successfully unified their US and UK locations with modernized equipment and a seamless process, avoiding the complexities of coordinating with multiple vendors across regions.
