Stratus’s Eric Gotthelf and Meraki PSS Jorge Pumarino had been pitching an EA contract to AHT Global for what seemed like an eternity. A technology design firm with residential, marine, and commercial divisions seem to love Meraki, though would seem to flake every time EA’s were brought up. Through a mix of persistence and persuasion, Eric and Jorge finally got their Principle to sign a 5YR EA agreement valued at $420,000.
The cork was half way out of the champagne bottle on the last day of the quarter when disti said they can’t accept 5YR EA deals outside of Cisco Cap. You gotta be kidding…
Stratus and Meraki strapped in, hit the phones, and after working through Friday night and Saturday afternoon, successfully received a Cisco SO number for the entire contract at 2:00PM on Saturday afternoon with Ingram Micro.
